Great location, nice staff and everything was very clean. Breakfast is great.

Nice restaurant with a large terrace with a great view of the lake. The waitresses are on the ball and very friendly. Only topped by the grill buffet on Saturdays, definitely worth a visit if you're around. (make a reservation !!) We'll stop by again;)

Equipment, condition and cleanliness of the rooms left a lot to be desired. Furnishings from the 90s, uncomfortable beds, poorly cleaned and poorly repaired bathrooms. Once and never again. The only plus point is the location

We were on 19. and 20.10.2019 for a family celebration in the hotel Thomsdorf. The house is clean, the beds cozy. We really liked the party. The food was rich, delicious and lovingly prepared. The service staff fast and polite. The breakfast left nothing to be desired. Thank you for the nice service, just keep it up ....

Because everything was just right. We were guests of a wedding party and I can only recommend the house. So much warmth, understanding, prudence, friendliness and above all good food (game in all variations, soup, smoked fish, cold buffet and desserts ....) - just as you ordered it :-)). - we did not have for a long time. You should always make yourself a picture and not be guided by bad reviews. Just try it, because you can not celebrate more beautiful. The great terrace overlooking the lake literally invites you to a photo shoot. There were no wishes left. And then the delicious breakfast the next morning. just fantastic. Dear Team of the Hotel Haus Thomsdorf, On 19.10.2019 we celebrated our wedding in this great location. The decoration of the hall was made by ourselves in order to realize our own ideas and ideas (theme: autumn). The staff always had an open ear for us and supported us. It should also be noted that we were allowed to prepare the hall quite relaxed one day before our wedding, which is by no means self-evident. The staff was friendly, helpful and obliging around the clock. The buffet for the wedding was BOMBASTISCH. All agreements that were made before, the team has implemented very satisfactorily. Everything was delicious. The versatile buffet left nothing to be desired. It was nice that we could just fall into our beds after the party. The rooms were clean and we had a beautiful view of the lake. The beds were also very comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was very versatile. From omelette to various salads, jams, sausages and cheeses, everything was there and just delicious. Unfortunately, last year we celebrated our wedding on a small scale with 20 guests and did not want to write the review until I calmed down. Yes, so great swimming spot on Lake Carwitz (which is not the merit of the hotel!) And in itself it is also a retirement home with additional hotel operation - to make it clear. The food was the reason why we wanted to do the wedding party there, we did not care about the Ossi Scharm, because I am Ossi myself - it was almost retro - and a nearly 40year old bride with little claim as our guests are totally relaxed people. This hotel has not only made it on the eve of the celebration (I had to decorate the banquet itself for 2 hours and the chair covers we borrowed for € 100 in the hotel itself bind that was blatant, if your guests all on the terrace sit I tears the wife of the house because of lack of staff and had a bad conscience, that we were there at all-which did not change any more.On the day of my wedding, we came to the hotel after marriage and boat trip and I stood in front of the wedding dress Owner and the lady barking at me fully, she apologized half-heartedly after mentioning it the next day, but I know the East, but to bring such an action, under no circumstances, that I kept secret from my guests, so that no one notices how sad and angry I was, later on my guests gave their own stories to the best of the rolling eyes of the employees at the service The wedding soup was thrown out until ten o'clock in the evening - we had no music on it was too hot for dancing - because the staff wanted to go home. I will hopefully never marry again so I will be spared this incomprehensibility. The guest as such is completely undesirable, you do not want to make money and you do not see it invest. The food was absolutely delicious and was the only one in addition to the one hard-working staff - the hopefully no longer works and what better has found, where you appreciate their value - in memory. Today, my friends tell their gods thanks, the anecdotes with a smile. There was unfortunately nothing else back then and we wanted to get married up there but you do not want that at all - I told you a whole year earlier and was there personally and agreed on everything and tried to think of everything and no extra wishes and had the turn of the man with which you can not deny anything under any circumstances, according to his wife! People please leave it, even if the food is delicious, to give women the feeling to celebrate their wedding there. Because one thing is clear, the next bride, who messes her up the festivities, does not just go out of her office with her mouth open in her wedding dress, but rips off her A ... and takes her place. Unfortunately I am too nice but know where you are undesirable.

As a repeat offender we were again very satisfied. The whole hotel has a "Ostzonal" charm. The rooms are clean and tidy, the view of the Carwitzsee wonderful. The breakfast rich with fruit and vegetables, salads, eggs (cooked and scrambled eggs or omelet), cold cuts from our own production and other treats. The dinner selection is sufficient and everything was very good, especially the Grillbufett. Many thanks to family Meyer and her team. We liked it again and we will be back.

The facilities of the house are thrown together from at least the last 30 years. The single room was very small and consisted of a wide bed, closet, dessert and very small. Flat screen televisions from an era; Coffee table, chair and armchair from probably 20 to 30 years ago. The floor with primitive linoleum. In the bathroom, the attempt to renew one or the other small part was evident. The shower head was so closed that the jet always pressed the part against the wall, staining the towels old. Hairdryers are available in the office on request. The WiFi is only in the foye, but it was good there. The food from the restaurant, on the other hand, was fresh and good and not too expensive. The breakfast so far ok, adequate. Overall, the price with breakfast for one night at € 55 was absolutely not appropriate. 38 € would have been ok. The operating staff was extremely friendly. The location of the hotel is heavenly. It's a shame, you could really make something out of it with a little investment. You can stay there one night, but nothing more.

Pretty stale for the price not recommended. Unless you like it when it looks in the rooms as if nothing had happened for 20 years.

Very good food and the staff is great

Simple hotel but clean, nice staff and good food. Beach only 5 minutes and there is a diving center at the hotel. It's good to spend a weekend there.

Didn't visited the hotel rooms, just the restaurant. It looked ok

Anyone looking for East German flair is in good hands ..... Buildings and equipment date back to this time. Everything got a bit old. The food was delicious and the waitress was friendly and helpful. Otherwise, time has stopped here ....

10/10 Would visit again.
